About Us

We are seeking a meticulous and highly analytical Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure tax compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Ledger & Reconciliation: Manage the general ledger, conduct month-end and year-end close processes, and perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of all statutory returns (e.g., VAT, PAYE, QPDs, NSSA) in strict compliance with ZIMRA regulations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, monitor expenditures, and analyze variances to provide actionable management reports.
  • Payroll & Disbursements: Oversee payroll processing and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during annual financial audits, ensuring all documentation is organized and readily available.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: Full or partial completion of a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA(Z), CIS).
  • Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience as an Accountant, ideally within a corporate or commercial environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage Pastel, QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and current Zimbabwean tax laws.
  • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
